By creating an account, purchasing or accessing a course, or using the GoCzechGuru website and learning platform, you agree to these Terms & Conditions.

2. Student Accounts

Some GoCzechGuru services require a registered member account.

You are responsible for providing accurate account information and for keeping your login credentials secure. Your account is intended for your personal use and should not be shared with another person.

You are responsible for activity carried out through your account unless you notify us promptly about suspected unauthorised access.

3. Course Access

Access to lessons, courses and learning features depends on the course, package or enrolment assigned to your account.

Some lessons may be unlocked progressively. Previously unlocked lessons may remain available for revision according to the rules of the relevant course or subscription.

GoCzechGuru may update the structure, content or presentation of courses where this is necessary to improve teaching quality, accuracy, compatibility or functionality.

4. Learning Progress

GoCzechGuru may record lesson progress, exercise completion, learning preferences and other educational activity associated with your account.

Progress information is intended to help learners continue from the appropriate point and allow authorised teachers or administrators to support the learning process where applicable.

Completion of lessons or exercises does not by itself guarantee a particular examination result, language level, residence status, employment outcome or university admission.

5. Multilingual Support

GoCzechGuru may provide explanations and learning support in languages including Hindi, Bangla and English.

These supporting languages are intended to assist understanding. Czech remains the principal target language of the course.

Translations and explanations are educational aids and should not be treated as official or certified translations.

6. Audio, Recordings and Teacher Feedback

Some learning activities may include pronunciation audio, listening materials, student recordings or teacher feedback.

Where students submit recordings or other learning material, these may be reviewed by authorised teachers or administrators for educational purposes.

Students must not upload unlawful, abusive, offensive or unrelated content through recording or submission features.

7. Payments and Course Purchases

Prices, course packages and payment conditions are displayed at the time of purchase or provided in the applicable offer.

Access may begin after the required payment has been received or otherwise confirmed.

Where instalment payments are offered, continued course access may depend on payments being made according to the agreed schedule.

Any applicable cancellation or refund conditions are described in the Refund Policy.

8. Acceptable Use

You may use GoCzechGuru for your own personal learning purposes.

You must not:

• share your account with unauthorised users;
• copy, distribute, resell or republish course materials without permission;
• attempt to bypass lesson-access restrictions;
• interfere with the website, platform or security systems;
• use automated tools to extract substantial amounts of course content;
• upload harmful code or misuse recording, messaging or submission features;
• use GoCzechGuru in a way that infringes the rights of another person.

9. Intellectual Property

Unless otherwise stated, GoCzechGuru course materials, lesson structures, exercises, graphics, audio, software, branding and original educational content are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws.

Course access gives you a limited personal right to use the learning materials. It does not transfer ownership of the content or give permission to reproduce, publish, sell or commercially distribute it.

10. Availability of the Platform

We aim to keep GoCzechGuru available and functioning reliably, but continuous or error-free availability cannot be guaranteed.

Access may occasionally be interrupted because of maintenance, software updates, third-party services, technical failures, internet connectivity or circumstances beyond our reasonable control.

Where possible, we will work to restore affected functionality within a reasonable period.

11. Third-Party Services

GoCzechGuru may rely on third-party services for website hosting, authentication, payments, email, media, analytics or other platform functions.

Use of some third-party services may also be subject to the terms and policies of those providers.

12. Educational Purpose and Results

GoCzechGuru is designed as an educational learning platform.

The effectiveness of language learning depends on factors including attendance, practice, individual ability, time spent learning and use of the materials.

We therefore cannot guarantee that every learner will achieve a specific language level or pass a particular examination solely by purchasing or completing a course.

13. Suspension or Termination of Access

We may restrict or suspend access where reasonably necessary because of:

• serious or repeated breach of these Terms;
• account sharing or unauthorised distribution of content;
• fraudulent or unlawful activity;
• misuse of platform features;
• unpaid amounts where payment is required for continued access;
• security risks affecting the platform or other users.

Where appropriate, we will attempt to contact the account holder before permanent termination.

14. Limitation of Liability

Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded under applicable law.

To the extent permitted by law, GoCzechGuru is not responsible for indirect losses arising solely from interruption of the platform, misuse of learning materials, failure to follow course instructions or decisions made independently by the learner based on educational content.

16. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms & Conditions when our services, course structure, technology or legal requirements change.

The current version will be published on this page with the latest revision date.

Material changes affecting existing paid access should be communicated where reasonably appropriate.

17. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Czech Republic, subject to any mandatory consumer-protection rights that apply to the customer.

Any dispute should first be addressed by contacting us so that we can attempt to resolve the matter directly.
